Dignitary Protection Group, LLC is pleased to announce its Dignitary/VIP Protection for Law Enforcement training course has been approved by the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board (LETB). The approval will allow Indiana law enforcement officers who successfully complete the course to receive credit (24 hours) toward their annual re-certification requirements.
The Dignitary/VIP Protection for Law Enforcement course is a 3-day comprehensive and hands-on program that teaches the information and skills necessary to plan, execute and participate in protective security operations.
“With threats against dignitaries and VIPs on the rise across the country, law enforcement officers are being called on to deal with situations in which they have little to no knowledge or training,” said Doug Runyon, Managing Partner and Lead Instructor for DPG. “I’m honored to have our course approved and look forward to working with law enforcement agencies throughout the State to bring this unique training to their officers.”
Dignitary Protection Group, LLC is the midwest’s leader in protective security services. In addition, DPG offers a variety of other services including security consulting, investigations and training.
